摘要
首先对ATM网络进行了简单的介绍，阐明了ATM中虚信道和虚通道等重要概念以及它们之间的关系。重点介绍了ATM网络资源管理中的连接接纳控制、用法参数控制、网络参数控制、优先级控制、拥塞控制以及它们在网络资源管理中的作用。
In this paper, the ATM transport network architecture and VP roles are summarized. The concepts and functions of connection admission control, usage parameter control, network parameter control, priority control andcongestion control are introduced.
