摘要
目前我国高校分类的实践通常只把人才培养和科学研究职能作为分类标准,有意无意地忽视社会服务职能,导致社会服务职能这一标准长期处于缺失状态。但无论是从高校社会服务职能的历史嬗变,还是对高校公认三大职能关系的学理反思来看,社会服务职能的重要性都在日益彰显。美国卡内基高等教育最新分类标准已体现、并正在实践社会服务职能。因此,高校分类要给予社会服务职能必要的重视,并将其纳为重要考量标准。
At present, the classification of HEIs is always based on the functions of talents training and scientific research, and the function of social service is ignored intentionally or inadvertently. However, the significance of social service function is highlighted gradually. The U.S. Carnegie classification of higher education has been practicing the function of social service. Therefore, the function of social service should be taken into account in the classification of HEIs and be taken as an important criterion.
