摘要 The effect of rare earth(RE) oxide on impact toughness and primary structure of surfacing metal was investigated . The results show that the impact toughness of surfacing metal containing RE oxide can be increased by 50 %. The primary structure can be refined and its shape changed from columnar crystals to equiaxed ones.
