摘要
中国是一个重农的国家,民间从古至今祭祀着不少与农事相关的神灵,虫王便是其中之一。在我国民间,一般流传着虫王是"鹙"和"刘猛将军"的传说,但在浙江瑞安湗村的虫王却是当地先人,"护国惠民崇道圣王"陈肃勉。湗村"排殿猪"庙会,正是为了纪念陈肃勉灭蝗的丰功伟绩,以激励湗村后人弘扬先辈的乐善好施,互帮互助,相邻团结,甘于奉献的精神,同时,人们希望通过祭祀他,以求丰年。本文探讨瑞安湗村"排殿猪"庙会的特色及传承保护意义。
China is a country that attaches great importance to agriculture. In all ages, people have worshipped lots of farming-related gods, like Worm-King. In the folk legend, Worm-King is regarded as the ＂bald-headbird＂ or ＂Gen.Liu Meng＂. However, in Feng village of Zhejiang Rui＇an, Worm-King is the local ancestor Chen Sumian, honored as the Saint of nation-protecting and beneficial-to-countrymen. ＂Pai dian zhu＂ temple fair is to commemorate Chen Sumian＇s great achievements of successfully controlling the plague of locusts .Thus to encourage the later generations to inherit and develop the predecessor＇s dedicated spirit of being philanthropicminde, accommodating and united, as well as to impetrate an abundant year by sacrificing the god. This article aims to probe the features and the significance of protecting ＂Pai dian zhu＂ temple fair.
