摘要
隐喻是一种普遍现象,人们每时每刻都在使用隐喻。传统的语言观认为隐喻是一种修辞手段,而隐喻的现代理论则认为隐喻是一种认知工具。从认知语言学角度对《围城》中英版本中的隐喻进行比较研究。对两种语言中的隐喻的相同和异同进行阐释有助于发掘人类认知的共性和个性。
Metaphor is omnipresent in our life. People employ a lot of metaphors in their daily life. According to traditional metaphorical theories, metaphor is a figure of speech or play of words. But the contemporary metaphor theory takes metaphor as a cognitive tool. Meanwhile, the author compares the metaphors in Fortress Besieged in English and Chinese from a Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics .The comparative study is also conducive to exploring the universality and cultural specialty of human cognition.
