摘要
美国高校建有世界一流的现代大学信息服务体系。例如密歇根大学的信息整合与服务水平在美国高校中位居前列,其电子资源的整合与服务模式启示我国高校应科学规划和整合电子资源,开发基于用户需求的检索平台,提供多途径的全文获取方式,以提高电子资源的管理及服务水平。
American universities have constructed the world-class information service systems, and as an outstanding example, the University of Michigan presents a effective integration of electronic resources with its information service. In the light of this sample, the paper proposes a reflection on UM＇s expertise and some efficacious suggestions for improvement of the management and service of electronic resources in Chinese universities.
