摘要
作为学校的最高行政长官,大学校长是大学的灵魂,对大学的成功创建、平稳运行、革故鼎新、进步发展都具有决定性的影响和作用。由于各国高等教育国情的差异,导致各国大学校长在具体执掌大学时呈现不一样的特点。美国作为世界上高等教育最为发达的国家,排名世界顶尖大学前列的大学多出自美国,比较中美两国大学校长权力构成与运行模式,对我国大学的进一步发展有重要意义。
As the tiptop of the procurator, the president is the soul of the university, who exerts the crucial effect on successful creating, steady running, reforming and progressing. Because the differences of the situation of the higher education in each country, the president of the university manages taking out the unique trait. As the most developed country in higher education in the world, the best universities mostly come from America, so comparing the power form and running mode between Chinese and American universities＇ presidents has the important meaning for our universities＇ development.
