独孤及是天宝至大历年间一位重要的古文家,他是中唐古文先驱中古文创作实践的真正扛旗者。他的古文,无论在形式、内容,亦或风格上,都踏踏实实地实践了他的古文理论,并取得了较大的成就和影响。其中,奏议文代表了作者古文创作的最高成就。这类文章,为文必彰明善恶,长于论议。
DU Gu-ii was an important writer about ancient Chinese prose between Da-li and Tian-bao period. He played a chief part in practicing the literature theory during Mid-Tang Dynasty. His prose writing, regardless of in the form, the content, also or in the style, all had practiced his theory truly, and had obtained a great achievement. Among his artiles, Zou-yi artile represented his highest achievement. This kind of article was good at discussing, and they criticized the evil and speak highly of the good.
