20CrMnMoH钢螺旋锥齿轮失效分析

Fatigued Failure Analysis of a Screw Bevel Gear

摘要 利用宏观分析、力学性能测试、化学成分分析和金相显微组织观察对螺旋锥齿轮的失效进行了分析。分析发现,渗碳层普遍存在深度约25μm的黑色组织;齿面、齿槽存在明显的加工刀纹;齿根处发生了较明显的根切;渗碳层中残余奥氏体较多。分析表明:以上几种缺陷的共同作用,使齿轮的疲劳强度大大降低,是造成螺旋锥齿轮早期疲劳失效的内在原因。 In this paper,a failure analysis of the screw bevel gear is made by means of macroscopocal and microscopical fracture observing,hardness testing,chemical composition analysis and micrestructure examining.The result shows the things as follows—firstly,generally there is 25μm approximate depth of black structure and more residual austenite in the carbonized layer;secondly,a more obvious undercut occur in the root of tooth,where a stress concentration has existed before the root of tooth is undercut;the last,the obvious cutter marks exist in the surface and the trough of tooth.All of above the defects greatly decrease the fatigue strength of the gear and is internal cause of the early failure of the gear.
