摘要
通过考察美国留学生汉语口语的生造词汇,可以研究出留学生运用汉语时在母语和目的语之间转换的思维过程。我们认为,中级阶段的留学生正在尝试摆脱母语的控制,建立目的语词汇系统,但是两种语言的构词规则还处于胶着状态。在创造汉语词汇时,学习者通常从事物的本质特征出发,调出目的语的语素,再按照母语或者目的语的规则叠加,组成新词。
The paper is to study the thinking process of transferring between the mother tongue and the target language,through the unacceptable words coined by an American Chinese-learner. It is found that learners of intermediate level are trying to depart from the domination of the rules of their mother tongue and trying to build the rules in the target language. But the source language runs up against the target language in a way. When coining a new word, they normally use the basic features and select morphemes from the target language, then splice them to make a new word using the rules of the source language or target language.
