现代主义，由于在设计上往往不重视环境文脉和气候条件而逐渐丧失了其初始的活力。在亚洲，随着经济的崛起和现代文化的发展，建立了新的价值观念和生活方式，但对本土文化特色的维护却从未放弃。在当今多元化的世界中，当代乡土———作为多样化建筑倾向之一，必将得到发展。
Modernism,as a design approach,by paying little attention to the local cultural and natural conditions,has gradually lost its original dynamism.ln Asia,with the development of economy and modern cultures,some new ideas have been established,but the preservation and assertion of regional cultural specifications are no way less vigorous.ln today's pluralistic world,contemporary vernacular,being one of the many design approaches,is sure to have an inviting development.
