Introduces two methods of treating hard roof of fully mechanized mining face ： enforced top coal caving method and pressure water injection weaken roof method, also introduces the effects and the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods, elaborates the technique and selection of the deep hole blasting parameters of two roadways break tip roof method, discusses the mechanism of pressure water injection weaken roof and the arrangement water injection hole as well as the process of pressure water injection.
