摘要
添加少量的季铵盐改性蒙脱土的苯乙烯聚合制得混杂材料。研究了混杂材料的力学性能和耐热性,用IR、XRD、DSC和TG等证实了聚苯乙烯在改性蒙脱土夹层中的嵌入和苯乙烯在可聚合性季铵盐改性的蒙脱土片层上的接枝。结果表明,混杂材料的拉伸强度和冲击强度都有提高,CTAB-Mt-PS和MBDAC-Mt-PS在蒙脱土含量超6%后,增加较小,在蒙脱土含量2%时,冲击强度有极大值。耐热性也有明显提高,最大热失重时的温度MBDAC-Mt-PS达401.8℃比PS的371.4℃高得多。
Hybrids were prepared from the polymerization of styrene with a small amount of quaternary ammonium modified montmorillonites.The mechanical properties and heat resistance of the hybrids were studied.IR,XRD,DSC and TGA measurements showed PS could be intercalated into the interlayers space of modified montmorillonite,and styrene could be grafted onto the layers of the polymerizable quaternary ammonium modified montmorillonite.Results showed the tensile strength and impact strength of the hybrids increased,and increased more or less when the montmorillonite content was more than 6%,and the impact strength had a maximum when montmorillonite content was 2%. The heat resistance increased obviously,too,the highest temperature for thermal weight loss of MBDACMtPS was 401.8℃,much higher than 371.4℃ of PS.
