The present market status of lithium bromide is reviewed.The new technology for the preparation of lithium bromide by hydrobromic acid and lithium hydroxide is introduced.The techno-economic analysis for the production of refrigerant lithium bromide with the capacity of 1 850 t/a and concentration of 54% is made.
