摘要
采用国产材料研制了基于移波光纤的快中子照相用转换屏。测试结果表明,新的转换屏与原有的2mm厚转换屏相比,发光强度可提高到原来的6~8倍,样品成像的统计性明显变好,光纤屏的饱和厚度约为25mm,空间分辨率好于2mm。
The fluorescent converter used for fast neutron radiography was developed by using the home-made wavelength-shifting fibers (WSF). As the experiment shows, the luminosity of the WSF converter is 6-8 times as high as that of the converter we used before and the statistics of the imaging is much better. The relationship between the luminosity and the thickness of the WSF converter is also obtained from which the saturation thickness is 25 mm. The smallest defect that can be detected by the converter is about 2 ram,
