摘要
对引种的美国厚皮甜瓜初选品种进行了生育规律和露地栽培方式的研究。观测了各生育期的特点，比较了不同栽培方式对产量的影响，考察了各品种的品质，探讨了在江汉平原湿润气候条件下，露地栽培厚皮甜瓜之可能性。
The growth period and culture technique in the open of initally chosen American cantaploup were studied. The characteristics of each growth period were observed. The effects on yields of various culture technique were compared. The quality of each cultivar was tested. The possibility of culturing cantalope in the open under the ecological condition of Jianghan plain was researched.
