摘要
将灰度边缘的模板算子扩展到彩色图像的边缘检测,并在均匀彩色空间中检测彩色边缘.这种扩展的彩色边缘检测方法计算简单,能检测出更符合视觉特性的彩色边缘来.实验结果证明了这种方法是有效的.
Edge is the basic and important information in image processing and image analysis. A color edge detector by extending the gray scale edge gradient template detector is presented. In the extension, the RGB image is converted into uniform chromatic space, and a directional template is then designed to detect the color edge using the Euclidean distance in the uniform chromatic space. The template should be directionally symmetrical. The values in the template represent the relevant positions in the 3D chromatic space and the weighed factors at these positions. Detection of the edges with detector such designed is easy and the color edges detected are found to be in better agreement with the characteristics of human vision. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the detection detector developed.
