摘要
本文分析了当处理机的访存请求分布不均匀时,Banyan网络作为多处理机系统互连网络时的有效带宽。提出了一个新的近似模型,该模型比现已报道的多级互连网络性能模型更具有一般性,分析模型较为简洁和统一。本模型建立在所谓“等接受率”假设的基础上。该假设的依据是在实际系统中,所有的请求最终都将被接受。在此假设下可以得到一种十分简单的求解方法。模拟实验证明了本模型的准确性。
The effective bandwidth of the Banyan network as a multiprocessor interconnection network is analysed in this paper, where the memory requests of each processor are non-uniformly distributed A neat and unified approximation model is proposed which is more general than any model so far reported The model is based on the assumption of equal probability of acceptance which is backed by the observation that in a real system all the requests of any processor will finally be served. Under such an assumption a relatively simple solution can be obtained. Simulation results show that the model has satisfactory accuracy.
