摘要
京津、华北地区是我国政治、经济和文化中心，但水资源极为匮乏。面对严重缺水状况，有关省市积极采取了节约用水等一系列有力措施，但仍因缺水带来了一系列严重的经济、社会和环境问题。随着供水区经济社会的发展和水资源量的进一步减少，缺水矛盾将更加尖锐。南水北调中线工程是解决京津、华北地区严重缺水的根本措施。它的建设，对于从根本上改善京津、华北地区缺水状况、促进经济社会发展、改善生态环境等都将产生重要作用。因此，建议尽快实施南水北调中线工程。
Beijing-Tianjin and North China are the political, economical and culture center of China, but extremelyshort of water resources. COnfronted with crucial status quo of water shortage, the related provinces and cities haVe adopteda series of effective measures, such as saving of water. Nevertheless, some serious economical, social and environmentalproblems caused by water shortage still arise. Along with the development of society and economy and decrease of water resources in water use areas, the water shortage problems will become even more crucial. Middle route project for S-N watertransfer is the essential measure to solve the crucial water shortage status quo in Beijing-Tianjin and North China. The project will play an important role in improving water shortage status quo and ecological environment, and Promoting the development of the society and economy etc. in these areas. Therefore it is suggested that the Project should be realized as soon aspossible.
