The Influence of Formative Assessment on Self-access Learning——Relevance Between the Length of Learning on Computer and Its Achievements

摘要 以进行自主听说学习的学生为对象,就其在自主中心听说练习记录的时间和成绩做了相关性研究。结果显示,听说总成绩和总时间两变量呈线性正相关,即学习时间越长成绩越好。将听力时间分界后发现在4726分钟内听力时间与效果呈正相关,但超出4726分钟后两变量即显弱负相关。口语学习时间与学习成绩呈负相关。此现象提醒教师,学习时间越长效果不一定越好,除学习时间的长短外,还有一些因素对学生学习效果有着重要影响。 This project studied the relevance between the length of learning on computer with the "Experiencing English" software and its achievements. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the two was positive when it was concerned in the students' total scores in listening and speaking, which meant that the longer the students studied on computer the higher their total scores were. In listening practice, however, the correlation coefficient between the two was positive Within 4726 minutes but negative beyond 4726minutes; in speaking practice, the correlation coefficient between the two was negative. The phenomenon reminds instructors to pay more attention to other factors in deciding students' learning efficiency.
