树状小波分解及其在纹理图像压缩中的应用 被引量:1

摘要 本文提出一种基于树状小波分解的图像压缩算法,它在一定的能量准则下,能够自适应地根据图像特征进行子带分解和编码。对纹理图像压缩的实验结果表明,这种算法在压缩比、视觉特性及信噪比方面均具有令人满意的结果。因而,它对于基于边缘和纹理区域分别编码的第二代图像压缩方案具有重要的意义。 In this paper, we introduced an algorithm for image compression based on tree-structuredwavelet decomposition . Under some special energy rules, it can implement the subband coding according to theimage features adaptively.The experiments for textured images shou that,this method is outstanding at compres-sion ratio , visual effect and SNR. So, it is valuable to the second generation image compression schemes based on edge texture coding respectively.
