摘要
分析探讨了地震的形成机制,总结了目前地震预报技术的现状,探讨了VLBI技术在地震形成机制研究中的应用及其在地震前兆分析中的潜在能力。
The possible damage caused by the earthquake is briefly described, and the seismic formation mechanism is analysed. Then, the VLBI technology and its application to some research fields are introduced, and so are its new developments. With this most precise technique,the baseline can achieve mm magnitude. The potential capabilities of VLBI in Earthquake Prediction are studied.
