１９９６年现场试验结果证明，美国威灭杀蟑药饵对黑胸大蠊的防效好（９９．６５％）取食率高（２３．７５％）抗霉性强（无一发霉盒）因此，在住宅紧密相连的环境下，局部施药仍可收以很好的防效，不受不施药者的侵害。
The test of effect of killing cockroach of COMBAT poison bait was carried out in 1996. The result showed that COMBAT poison bait (made in America) has good effect on controlling smokybrown cockroaches (99. 65%), high ratio for taking food (23. 75 %), strong resistance to mildew (no boxes going mouldy). It also get good results for controlling smokybrown cockroackes when using the poison bait in parts of an area of house to house, and the results will not be affected by not applying the poison bait.
