Two kinds of 2nd and 3rd cut alfalfa with different moisture content were ensiled to study the effects of alfalfa fermented green juice (AFGJ), timothy fermented green juice (TFGJ), lactic acid bacteria (LAB), cellulase (CEL) and lactic acid bacteria(LAB)+cellulase (MIX) on fermentation quality of alfalfa silages. Ensilaged them for 50 days at normal temperature, then measured the fermentation quality of the silages. Results showed that AFGJ and TFGJ significantly improved the fermentation quality of silages with low moisture content in 2nd cut and both high and low moisture content in 3rd cut, LAB,CEL and MIX significantly improved the fermentation quality of silages with both high and low moisture content in 2nd and 3rd cut. The effects of CEL and MIX on the fermentation quality of silages with high moisture content in 2nd cut and the effect of M1X on the fermentation quality of silages with low moisture content in 2nd cut were the best. The effects of AFGJ and TFGJ on the fermentation quality of silages with high moisture content in 3rd cut were the best. The fermentation quality of silages with low moisture content in 3rd cut effeeted by TFGJ, AFGJ, LAB and MIX were similar and better than CEL and CON. The fermentation quality of silages in 2nd cut were better than 3rd cut. Compared with silages of high and low moisture content within same cut and same additives, effects of AFGJ and TFGJ were similar and low moisture content in other groups showed better effect.
