摘要
家庭养猫可供观赏，也可作为伴侣动物；二是用来灭鼠。农村养猫大多用来灭鼠，养猪灭鼠是一种生物灭鼠的好办法，在农村应用较为普遍。而猫在灭鼠的过程中，对外界环境、山林、草场的不断接触，会受到栖息的山林、草场中血蜱的侵袭，每只猫侵袭量达几个甚至几十个，造成猫只瘙痒不安、背毛焦乱，甚则贫血、消瘦，同时蜱还能传播传染病。
