摘要
王尔德的批评理论,既是其唯美主义诉求在批评中的反映,也是最能标志其美学思想之独创性的内容。首先,王尔德倡导艺术化批评,认为批评是一种独立的个性化创作。其次,他强调批评的自律性,批评不仅与真、善等非审美性因素无涉,而且独立于艺术家的意图。再次,他强调批评相对于创作的优越性,认为是批评精神在守护着人类社会文化的健康发展。王尔德的批评思想以其激进的语言观与非理性的哲学观为理论支点,预示了20世纪诗学的"语言学转向"。
As one of the most creative parts of his aesthetic thoughts, Oscar Wilde's theory of criticism mainly consists of three aspects. Firstly, criticism is itself a creative art and the highest criticism must be "art-criticism" or "aesthetic criticism". Secondly, criticism is independent of any non-aesthetic factors and of the intentions or purposes of artists, which is to say that criticism is autonomic. Thirdly, the criticism is superior to creativity, and it is criticism that leads us in the progress of the world. Rooted in his radical linguistic thoughts and his non-rationalism, Wilde's theory of criticism had prefigured the linguistic turn of poetics in the 20th century.
