Research of smart antenna based on genetic algorithm

摘要 智能天线是第三代移动通信系统中的关键技术之一。本文从智能天线的波束形成、DOA估计两个方面阐述遗传算法在智能天线中的应用。理论研究表明,遗传算法作为一种现代优化计算方法,不失为解决智能天线诸多算法问题的新途径。 Smart antenna is the key technique of the 3G/B3G of mobile communication systems. This paper gives some introductions about the beamforming and DOA estimation of smart antenna using genetic algorithm. The research results show that genetic algorithm is a novel approach of solving problems in smart antenna as a modem optimization algorithm.
