从中国古代家具蕴含的文化内涵和设计精髓出发,阐述了科技发展和科学进步对现代家具设计的影响。以及利用古人留下的设计精华,借助现代科技的发展契机,在材料选用、工艺流程、文化内涵、装饰、结构等方面,继承和发展古代家具设计,使家具设计这一古老文明硕果在今天进一步发扬光大。
The influence of the development of science and technology on modern furniture design was introduced starting from the cultural connotation and design distillation in Chinese ancient furniture design. The ways to develop and inherit the Chinese ancient furniture design was put forward, which was to combine the distillation of Chinese ancient furniture design with the modern science and technology in the selection of materials, craftwork, culture meaning, decoration, and structure of the furniture.
