Design of the Hardware Protecting Circuit for Bootloader

摘要 对当前Bootloader使用的软硬件保护方法进行研究。针对软件保护在程序运行异常时可靠性下降、传统硬件保护成本较高的情况,深入分析Bootloader实现机制和Flash擦除、烧写流程。根据数字电路逻辑设计原理,利用门级电路设计了一种新型的Boot-loader硬件保护电路。与软件保护相比,在增加少量设计成本的情况下,可以极大地提高系统的安全性。与传统硬件保护相比,可以有效降低成本、提高可靠性。经验证,该电路基本可以杜绝Bootloader被误改写的缺点。 The hardware and software methods currently used for protecting Bootloader are studied. Aiming at the problems that using software with low reliability when program running abnormally, while higher cost that using hardware, the implementing mechanism of Bootloader and Flash erasing and burning procedures are analyzed thoroughly. According to the design principle of digital circuits and logical programming, a new hard- ware protection circuit for Bootloader is designed by using gate circuit. Compared with the software protection, with a small increment of design cost, the safety of the system can be enhanced greatly. While compared with traditional hardware protection, the cost can be reduced effectively and the reliability will be increased. It is verified that the method can put an end to the demerits of re-writing the Bootloader accidentally.
