摘要
动物的发育是一个严格受控的复杂过程,需要在时空上精确控制相关基因的表达。miRNA通过抑制靶mRNA翻译或使之降解失稳从而在转录后降低基因的活性。近期的实验研究表明,miRNA在动物发育的诸多方面发挥着重要调控功能,并表现出特有的调控模式。本文对miRNA参与动物发育过程的调控研究进行了综述。
Animal development is a strickly controlled complex process, which requires precise spatial and temporal expression of genes, miRNAs posttranscriptionally regulate gene expression through translation inhibition and mRNA degradation. Experiments have recently shown that miRNAs play critical roles in many aspects of animal development, which presents special regulatory patterns. This article reviews the recent progress in research on miRNA-involved animal developmental regulation.
