摘要
在明末"三教合一"思潮的背景下,云栖袾宏的儒佛观独具特色。首先,在彰显儒佛本旨的基础上,主张儒佛配合、儒佛相资为用。其次,为纠儒佛会通中"儒佛混滥"之弊,从概念、义理上严辨儒佛界限。再次,针对阳明后学狂禅之弊,以"止恶行善"之实行补救之。最后,强调以儒家伦常为本,作为净土修行之根基。袾宏的"儒佛配合"论,是在明末时代背景下的必然选择,同时也为明末佛教的发展开拓了新的空间。
Against the background of the merging of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in the late Ming Dynasty, this article discusses Master Zhuhong's unique viewpoint on the relationship of Confucianism and Buddhism. First, by stressing the essence of Confucianism and Buddhism, Master Zhuhong advocated integration of the two. Second, to avert confusion in the merging process, he demarcated the boundary between them in concepts and ways of argumentation. Finally, to counteract radical thoughts advocated by Wang Yangming, he maintained the position of "giving up the evil and returning to the good". The view of Master Zhuhong reflects the characteristic of merging Confucianism into Buddhism. The merge of Confucianism with Buddhism advocated by Master Zhuhong is a natural choice in the late Ming Dynasty, which breaks new ground for the development of Buddhism.
