摘要
自然反义转录子(natural antisense transcripts,NAT)在生物界中广泛存在,且发挥着重要的基因表达调控作用。NAT表达水平的高、低可调控多种生物的多种重要的生理活动,尤为重要的是,目前已经证实aHIF、gfg-1、p15AS、rTSα等NAT分子能直接作用于多种肿瘤相关的关键因子,其异常表达与多种肿瘤的发生、发展有密切关系。
Natural antisense transcripts (NAT) exist extensively in prokaryotic and eukaryotic biological kingdom and exert important function in regulating gene expression. The expression level of NAT may control numerous physiological activities in a variety of organism. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that NATs, such as aHIF, gfg-1, plSAS and rTSα, are expressed abnormally in various types of tumor during tumorigenic development and progression. The targets of those NAT are key tumor related factors. Therefore, elucidation of the function and mechanism of NATs is of great importance.
