摘要
以湖南工业大学外国语学院英语专业04级和05级学生为调查对象,对其正在修习的现代信息检索课程的重要性,学习本课程前后获取资料的方式,本课程授课方式、内容,理论课时与上机时间安排以及教师选择等问题进行了调查与分析。建议高校将信息检索课列为公共必修基础课,同时重视本课程师资队伍建设,教师在教学中应当重视学生信息应用能力的培养。
The survey targeting to grade 04 and 05 English majors of foreign language school in Hunan University of Technology, who are studying the modern information retrieval course, investigates and analyses the following questions about this course, including its importance, the different ways of getting information by its studying, the method and contents of giving lectures, the arrangeing of theoretical and practice hours, the teacher＇s option and so on. The article recommendates colleges and universities regard the modern information retrieval course as a compulsory public course, meanwhile focus on the building of teachers of the course, and teachers should value the cultivation of students＇ ability to apply information.
