摘要
电子束冷床熔炼工艺作为一种新熔炼技术,可应用于生产航空发动机转动件用优质钛合金和回收残钛。利用500kW电子束冷床熔炼设备,研究了熔炼速度与Ti64合金铸锭化学成分和TiN夹杂溶解速度的关系。熔炼速度分别为70,100,140kg/h时,Al挥发损失分别为22%、16%、12%。经超声探伤,在熔炼电极中加入的TiN夹杂能够全部消除。所熔炼的铸锭外部是均匀的柱状晶粒,心部是细小的晶粒。
The electron beam cold hearth remelting process has emerged as an new melting technology. It is used to produce premium quality titanium alloys for critical rotating parts of the nero-engine and to recycle the titanium scraps successfully. In the paper, the relationships between the melting rate and the chemical composition of Ti64 alloy the TiN dissolution ability were studied. The results show that at melting rate of 70, 100 and 140 kg/h, the Al volatilization losses of the EBCHR melted ingots are 22%, 16% and 12% respectively. The artificially added TiN inclusions in the feeding bar are completely removed by the electron beam cold hearth remelting process. The as-melted ingot has homogeneous columnar grains in the outer region and fine equi-axed grains in the center region.
