摘要
唐代多娶习俗之下的夫妇丧葬,可以分为五种情况:与诸夫人合葬、单独下葬、与前室合葬、前室合葬后室祔之、与后室合葬。其中与诸夫人合葬的事例最多,与前室合葬的情形次之,应视为唐代多娶习俗之下的丧葬常态。
As to the funerals of husband and wife when one husband had more than one wife, there were five forms of funerals which were the husband being buried together with all his wives, the husband being buried separately, the husband being buried together with his first wife, the husband being buried with his first wife in the same coffin while his second wife＇s coffins being nearly, the husband being buried with his second wife. The most popular form was that the husband was buried together with all his wives, then was that the husband was buried with his firs wife. These two forms should be considered as the normal funeral forms.
