摘要
RuO_2和IrO_2都是用于析氧、析氯的氧化物阳极的活性组分,作为阳极材料用于氯碱、氯酸盐制备、电解水、电冶金以及废水处理等领域具有很大的潜力.RuO_2和IrO_2能形成固溶体.IrO_2。的加入,提高了电极的稳定性,降低了电极的析氧催化活性.这种混合氧化物Ir_aRu_(1-a)O2阳极已用于酸性介质中电解水.对于Ru-Ir合金电极和混合氧化物电极已进行了大量的电化学和表面性质的研究.但关于热分解制备的RuO_2-IrO_2电极的研究报道尚少,面对表面性质的研究更少.本文应用XPS和电化学技术研究热分解制备RuO_2-IrO_2电极的电化学性能和表面性质的关系,以探讨制备寿命长、价格低的阳极的可能途径.
RuO_2-IrO_2 electrodes, prepared by thermal decomposition of RUCI_6+(NH_4)_2IrCI_6 on titanium substrate, have been studied by mcans of XPS and electrochemical techniques. It has been shown that the surface of RuO_2-IrO_2 electrode is homogeneous in composition, and a common π~* condnction band is formed by the t_(2g) orbitals of Ru and Ir. As the Ir conrent of coating increases, the position of π~* band shifts to higher binding energy, indicating that the further oxidation of RuO_2 is more difficult. As a resulf, the electrode becomes more stable and its electrocatalytic activation for oxygen evolution in acid solution becomes lower.
