摘要
英语习语变体的理解加工是一个意义在线重构的过程,通过对相关传统加工模式的评述,在概念合成理论的框架下对该过程作出阐释,从而构建新的模式。
The processing of English idiom variants is a process of meaning reconstructing on line. This paper, after expounding some related traditional theories of idiom processing, proposes a new model and then applies Conceptual Blending Theory to disclose its mechanism, hopefully to expand the field of English idioms study in China.
