摘要
报道了2-[6′-溴苯并噻唑-2′-偶氮]-4-氯-5-甲基苯酚的合成及其用作酸碱指示的研究。试剂的 pK_(?)=8.65±0.08,变色域为 pH7.9(黄色)～9.4(紫色)。滴定终点时颜色变化十分敏锐清晰。是一种优于酚酞和甲基橙的指示剂。
The synthesis of 2-(6'-bromobenzothiazolyl-2'-azo)-4-chloro-5-methylphenol is reported andthe use of this compound as an acid-base indicatoris studied.The pK_ value of the indicator is8.65±0.08 and the colour range of the indicatoris from pH7.9(yellow)to 9.4(violet).At theend of the titration the colour change is verysharp This indicator is better than phenolphthalein or methyl orange.
