A Study on Drought Monitoring by Means of Remote Sensing in Jiangxi Province

摘要 针对江西省干旱大面积发生和丘陵地形与植被覆盖的特点,以极轨气象卫星资料为信息源,对干旱遥感监测方法进行研究。结合江西省干旱发生特点、天气条件和遥感信息源等分析,并对多种干旱遥感方法比较,认为采用植被供水指数法最适合本区域的干旱遥感监测应用。通过对2003年江西省特大干旱进行研究,结果表明,干旱发生期,植被供水指数主要分布在6-15,这个指数范围主要是针对有植被覆盖的下垫面发生的干旱,对于裸地或没有植被覆盖的下垫面不适用。 Aiming at the occurrence of large - area drought hilly terrain and vegetation coverage of Jiangxi Province, using the data of the polar satellites remote sensing, the study on the methods of remote sensing monitoring for drought was carried out. Synthesizing the analyses of drought characteristics, weather condition and remote sensing data of Jiangxi Province, and comparing with several methods of remote sensing monitoring for drought, the authors suggest that the method of vegetation supply water index (VSWI) is optimal for monitoring drought in Jiangxi Province. The results of the analyses of the drought in 2003, indicate that the VSWI ranges from 6 to 15 during the drought. The VSWI is useful for drought occurring on the land covered by vegetation but not suitable for bare land.
