摘要
简介了植硅石分析方法在第四纪环境研究中的应用，包括植硅石的研究现状、理化性质、实验室分析方法及其应用领域，并将植硅石与孢粉进行了对比，表明了植硅石特有的性质，并将它运用到南方网纹红土的研究中来恢复当时的古气候。
This paper briefly introduces the application of phytolith in the study of the Quaternary environment and mainly states the current situation of phytolith research,physical and chemical properties of phytolith,methods of phytolith analysing indoor and good perspective of phytolith application.The result of correlating phytolith with sporopollen shows that phytolith has its particular property.We apply the phytolith analysis to recover the paleoclimate and provide new evidence for extracting the information of biology-climate within vermicular red earth in south China.
