摘要
采用数值模拟的方法对电磁净化中间包内钢液的流动特征进行了模拟研究。结果表明:旋转室内的钢液在电磁力作用下产生水平旋转流动,促进了夹杂物的碰撞、聚合及上浮;旋转室的旋转切向出流以一定角度进入分配室内,所形成的偏流引起钢液流动的非对称性,易在分配室内形成水平环流状流动特征。分配室内设置T形坝控流装置可减轻流场结构的非对称性,分配室内的流动更为均匀。
The flow characteristic in the tundish for electromagnetic purification was simulated by mathematical simulation method. Simulation results showed that the molten steel in the rotation chamber was horizontally rotated under the effect of electromagnetic force, and this flow behavior would accelerate the inclusion collision, coalescence and flotation. In addition, the rotary tangential outflow entered into the distribution chamber with a certain deflection angle, and the formed bias flow led to the asymmetrical distribution in the flow structure. Under the effect of such flow asymmetry, a horizontal circumfluence would be formed in the distribution chamber. Moreover, after setting up a T-shaped dam in the distribution chamber, the steel flow showed a more symmetrical and uniform distribution.
