摘要
激光最大的应用领域之一是材料加工,激光器已把自己确立为一种不可缺少的工业工具。CO2、Nd:YAG和准分子激光器是当前用于材料加工的三种主要的激光器。半导体激光技术的迅速发展使得二极管激光器、二极管泵浦全固体化激光器、光纤激光器和超短脉冲激光器在工业应用中有了光明的前景。
Material processing represents one of the largest application areas for all type of lasers. The laser has firmly established itself as an indispensable industrial tool. CO2 laser, Nd: YAG laser, excimer laser are three major laser sources used today for material processing. The rapid developments in semiconductor laser technology have brightened the prospect of bringing diode laser, diodepumped allsolid-state laser, fiber laser and ultrashort pulsed laser to practical industrial use.
