摘要
随着Internet的发展,WebGIS已经成为GIS发展的必然趋势。开源软件具有成本低、稳定性和安全性高的优点,成为许多中小型WebGIS项目的首选。本文先是介绍了WebGIS的基本原理,然后选择了需要的开源软件:开源操作系统Linux、开源应用软件Apache、MapServer、PostgreSQL/PostGIS,之后使用这些软件构建了WebGIS服务器并论述了服务器工作流程,最后介绍了开源WebGIS的一个具体应用。
With the development of Internet, WebGIS has become the necessary development direction of GIS. Open source software has the advantages of low cost, high stability and security. So it has been chosen by the small and medium - sized WebGIS project. First,the article introduced the basic principle of WebGIS. Then it selected the open source software： open source Operating System Linux, open source application software Apache, MapServer, PostgreSQL/PostGIS. After that, it constructed the WebGIS server with the chosen software and discussed the server＇s work flow. Finally,it introduced an application of WebGIS.
