摘要
在对残疾人进行称呼和描述时,"以人为本"用语(person-firstlanguage)倡导首先要对"人"进行称呼和描述,然后再谈其存在的特殊教育需要或某方面的障碍。这是特殊教育深入发展在语言形式上的体现,引导人们以积极的态度来看待残疾人,推动残疾人事业朝更加良好的方向发展。这种用语形式所体现的理念和倡导的行动对我国特殊教育乃至整个残疾人事业具有一定启示意义。
When denoting and describing people with disabilities, the term of "people first" advocates deno- tation and description of "people" first, and then people' s special needs and disabilities can be mentioned, which demonstrates development of special education in terms of language on the one hand, and guides people to treat persons with disabilities in a more active attitude through dissemination and application of the term in a broader context on the other hand to push forward development of the cause for people with disabilities. Ideas and actions advocated by this term are of significance to develop special education and the cause for people with disabilities in our country.
