摘要 传统的傅立叶分析难以处理电力系统故障时产生的暂态信号.小波变换具有良好的时频局部化特性,为分析非平稳、突变信号提供了有效的途径.通过多尺度分析,将连续小波变换离散化,得到适合数字信号处理的快速算法——离散小波变换.最后给出了应用离散小波变换进行输电线路故障测距的实例,通过仿真分析证明该方法可以极大地提高测距精度. The transient signals produced by power system fault can hardly be analyzed with Fourier analysis. Wavelet transform provides an effective tool for non - stationary signals analysis, by its excellent properties in both time domain and frequency domain. This paper introduced the multi-resolution analysis (MRA) theory, and from which, a fast algorithm for Wavelet transform (discrete wavelet transform) was received by discretizing of the CWT( continuous wavelet transform). At last, the discrete wavelet transform was used in fault location, and proved to be efficient by the simulation.
