Matrix metalloproteinases and tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases and their relationship with invasion and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma

摘要 基质金属蛋白酶（MMP）及金属蛋白酶组织抑制剂（TIMP）表达的不平衡促进肿瘤的浸润和转移。研究发现鼻咽癌组织内MMP及TIMP的表达与鼻咽癌的浸润和转移密切相关，TIMP可能成为治疗鼻咽癌的新药物。 The unbalance between matrix metalloproteinase （MMP） and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase （TIMP） promotes tumor invasion and metastasis. Studies find that MMP and TIMP expression are closely associated with the invasion and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, TIMP may become a new agent for nasopharyngeal carcinoma treatment.
