基于生理视觉特性的压缩编码方法在航天遥测图像传输中的应用 被引量:2

摘要 航天遥测图像具有数据量大、像质要求较高等特点,它的实时传输要求与目前遥测系统较窄的传输带宽之间存在矛盾,提出了一种基于生理视觉特性的图像压缩编码方法,利用视觉选择性注意机理,将视频场景划分为视觉感兴趣区域和背景区域,对两部分分别以不同的比特率进行编码,实现渐进式传输;试验结果表明在保证图像视觉质量的前提下,该方案有效地提高了压缩率,有利于在窄信道条件下传输图像信息。 The aerospace RS image has mass data and is required better quality. So there exists a contrast between transmitting a RS image real time and the limited bandwidth of the present RS system. A coding approach based on human vision and its application in an aerospace remote measuring system is introduced according to the human vision selective attention to solve this problem, each video frame is separated into two parts: ROI (Region of interest) and BG (Background), they can be coded separately in different ratio and be transmitted progressive. Experiment result proved that the compression ratio is greatly improved under the condition that the subjective visual quality can be guaranteed, it help a lot to transmit a RS image through a limited bandwidth.
