调度员培训模拟器（ＤＴＳ）是培训电力系统调度员的强有力工具，是ＥＭＳ不可缺少的一部分。该讲介绍了ＤＴＳ的主要功能及设计原则，并对其基本组成部分进行了详细的描述。
This paper introduces the technical evolution of EMS design, development and application. Basic functions of EMS application software as well as their relations are described. The effectiveness of EMS is also discussed. EMS is a leap in the technologies and theory of power system automation. The key point is the application of the principle“top donw”design. Its most important effectiveness is the evolution of power system dispatch from experiential to analytical mode.
