On Area Measurement and Precision Appraising for the GM-101 GPS

摘要 以GM-101型GPS为例,探讨既具有车载功能又可手持使用的GPS的面积测量方法并进行精度评价。本文采用两种方法进行GPS面积测定实验,一是测定控制点的USER坐标值,再结合解析法求算面积;二是直接使用本机具有的测定面积的方法,采用航迹测定面积。结果表明,前一种方法测定面积的精度较高,相对误差可以降低至1.9%,已基本上满足林业生产中测量面积的精度要求,但是内业计算较为复杂;用后一种方法测出的面积精度较低,相对误差可降低至3.7%,此种方法较为简单易行。同时,结果还表明,利用全站仪的测量结果作为对照,进行GPS面积测量精度的评价方法,可以作为检验GPS测量面积精度的方法之一,在生产实践中具有实用价值。 This research takes GM -101 GPS as an example to probe into the vehicle and portable area measurement method of GPS and carry on the precision evaluation. Two kinds of methods were used to cam/out the test in this article. One was firstly deternfine the USER coordinate value of the control point and then calculate the area by combining the analytic method. The other was using the the accumulating method of the machine directly to determine the area of flight path. The result showed that first method, which could satisfy the demand of precision in forestry, was relatively precise, and the relative error could be reduced to 1.9%. But the internal operation of this method was complex. The second method, with a lower precision and a relative error of 3.7% , was comparatively easy. The result also showed that comparing the result by total - station instrument with the result by GPS was a good method for the test of measurement area precision and this method would be useful in practice.
