The reason of strict vacuum requirements of lithium bromide absorption chiller was explained and the major devices of vacuum rnanagement were introduced. The purge systems of different absorption chillers including their components such as Palladium cells arid vacuum pumps were described, and the importance of corrosion inhibitors on vacuum value of absorption chillers was expatiated.
